So i've got an odd problem, and am looking for help on how to proceed without destroying anything.
My centre caps don't come off. Now, even, with the special tool, the locking mechanism will just spin, in both directions, forever. It'll notch a bit and feel like it's bumping over something, but will never catch that lock ring underneath and allow me to remove it from the wheel.
What are my options to get them off, without, or with minimal breaking things?
I don't want to try and pry them off since i'm worried i'll bend the cap or damage the wheel itself.
