RX7 caliper and bracket Roll Call

Basically I want to know who is running the brakes and what wheels you are using. I tried to install mine today with 16" style 5's and there is no way that wheel combo will fit the brakes. Neither will the BBS RS in 16"

So what have you guys had success with.
    Thanks Tree.

who the fuck has these brakes, and what wheels clear them. I could Imagine how much money people would normally spend and have this not work. LETS NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!

Had to grind down the nub a little and took the MAZDA off

looks great. but wow is that close to the spokes.

what about adding a 3-5mm spacer? you have the lug space.

Ya I already have a 5mm spacer but if I go any bigger I run into fender issues. I have about 2-3mm of caliper clearance.

I dont remember the pads but they are of ceramic compound to match my rears. The rotors are R1 concepts or something like that. I got them off ebay and they also make E30 kits so all my rotors match.

OP: are your style 5s the redrills?

Ya it was hard enough getting those over my stock brakes with new pads. These brakes would be impossible without a huge spacer.

It would be very helpful to have a database of wheels that fit over the RX7 brakes.

                          I have tried:
                          Rota slipstream 15x8 et15
                          Kosei K1 15x7 et17

                          Both clear by a ton.

I just bought a set of 15x8 Rota Slips to replace a set of Ronal LS's (so that these brakes can be mounted). I also have a set of TR Motorsports 15x8 as track wheels. I'm doing the brake conversion this Wednesday, so I'll report back with fitment for the TR's.

Soon will have a set of Ronal LS's for sale!
