    Rear subframe bushing removal 101.

Replaced my subframe and trailing arm bushings with urethane units today. Much fun.

Fire is mans best friend, unsure where that leaves dogs.

Ah yes.....flaming subframe bushings. That's probably one of the more memorable fixes I've done. Burning rubber sure does stink......but the fire is cool 8)

And you were doubting me when I told you to use the smoke wrench.

          Oh ye of little faith.

and I suppose you just happen to own that tool, because we all know you need to change your subframe bushings weekly.

Why not urethane? No bolts were replaced. No need.

Tool rental is great. Perfect for those of us that have landlords and neighbors that don't appreciate us burning car parts.

                    I have polyurethane

Will not need to replace again ,, :)

so no need to own the tool, I had my old ones jacked out and the new ones jacked in, $20 and 10minutes

Whywould you burn it inside? Seems like it would make your garage/house smell like burning.

                        It's a carport, not a sealed garage.

I need to have my subframe bushings reaplaced real soon. I'm not going to do it myself though. Where did you get the bushings?
