    ZF320 oil ???

    hi guys, i think i have a stupid question.lol
    im working on my m52 swap with speed zf320 tranny and it says in the tranny to use (ATF OIL) is it just regular (ATF) like dexron I,II,III & VI ?

    or can some one tell me the oil to use (good oil pls) and how many liters

    help pls thanks

    regular ATF oil for ZF transmission.

    manual trans oil will make ZF trans shift BAD when cold!!

    just get a big bottle + pump; of top of my head ~less than 2 quarts. capacity listed ~ 1.2-1.4 liters/quarts

        O'Reilly's has 3 types of transmission fluid:
        Chrysler ATF+3 & ATF+4
        Mercon/Dexron
        Type F

        Are any of these good for a ZF 5-speed manual?

          Just the standard cheapo Mercon/Dexron also known as MD3.
