      yeah, I've never seen anyone cut into the body harness. Man, that must have sucked. it's way easier to modify the engine harness on a table..

        Which part? please tell. I know at least the CEL is wrong now, but after a little help from LOLCANTTURN it runs. It turned out i just had the fuel lines switched. What a noob issue hahaha.

        Please help me sort out the other stuff.

        I wanted to swap the body side plug so that I can leave any e36 harness uncut whenever i swap anything with an x20. It also meant that i didn't have to destroy the good harness on the m42 engine.
        faint in, throttle out.

            @86325LSD and @nando - so I should literally U turn pin 6 into pin 20 on c101, and then splice in pin 22 on X20?

            Btw, I have a late-'88 produced' 89 325i

              Yes pin 20 needs 12v coming from the car side. So pin 6 or the other o2 sensor heater wire. Both supply 12v with ignition on.
