    1989 325is with s14b23 swap. NYC (sold)

Hello, I have a 1989 325is with a 2.3L s14 that I swapped a few years back. The car has a complete M3 drivetrain. The transmission is the two piece G265 and the driveshaft is also from an M3. The engine has roughly 160k but has been well cared for w/ good compression. The following parts have been purchased in the last 2k miles. Idles perfect. Revs and pulls great.
    • mishimoto radiator and oil cooler kit
    • mishimoto hoses
    • water pump , tstat (the whole cooling system is near new)
    • intake boot, throttle cable, Crankcase breather hoses
    • wire, cap, rotor, plugs
    • AFPR+ fuel lines injectors sent to vac and rebuilt
    • complete regasket, ARP head studs
    • valve adjustment
    • OEM+ motor and tranny mounts, clutch slave
    • coolant flush and oil changes
    • bellhousing sensors
    • super sprint race exhaust- $1400 new.
    • AKG shifter with linkage $500 new
    • moroso mega pan- https://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac...px?Thread=True

The chasis has roughly 150k. The chasis is what you would expect of a 28 year old track car. The body has dents and scratches. Hood works but is dented up and has two small holes in it from when the car had hood pins. few matching vins but it is a clean title, plastic bumper car with almost no rust (golf ball size hole under battery box) and no major accidents. The body harness is complete. No power steering or AC. ABS has been deleted. No heater core. No radio/antenna. Sunroof guts removed. Power windows and locks work well.
    • euro cluster
    • half bolt in cage, metal battery tie down welded in trunk
    • new slotted and drilled rotors front rear
    • new rebuilt stock calipers
    • on GC coilovers w/adjustable koni shocks
    • ST front and rear swaybar kit
    • adjustable end links front and rear.
    • poly everything, Treehouse CABs
    • Reinforced subframe
    • stainless brake and clutch line
    • new front wheel bearings
    • wheel studs
    • unknown fiberglass side skirts
    • S373 diff. recent fluid flush

It is basically all gutted and is very light. It is a beast in the turns. Im sure im forgetting stuff but here is the build thread for the car over the last 8 years Ive owned it. If you are serious I encourage you to look at it and see all the maintenance and changes this car has gone though.

I need a comfortable daily and I just don't drive the car as much as id like so im entertaining a trade for a 88-91 325is in red, black or calypso, may entertain 1987 325is if clean. Looking fir a Manual but will consider auto car if its clean and meets my other criteria, 2 door must, black interior or cardinal only, must be clean clean clean with little to no rust. No verts or other cars. Looking for $12,000 for outright sale. If the car seems to have trouble selling I will consider selling the drivetrain separate at a later date.

I have a full weld in cage kit I will also sell with the car for $600. car will come on a set of so so euro weeves 15x7, stock "is" seats and stock steering wheel. If you dont want the half cage(-200), bring your own wheels(-400), take a stock lower oil pan instead of the mega sump(-400), dont want the supersprint exhaust(-800), AKG shifter and DSSR (-350) I will be willing to reduce the price by the amount listed next to each item.

The car is located in Bellmore, NY. It can easily make a trip anywhere in the tristate area. Drive it home.

What kind of criteria do you have for the 318is?
        318iS Track Rat :nice: www.drive4corners.com
        '86 325iX 3.1 Stroker Turbo '86 S38B36 325

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Clean clean. Manual is best but maybe auto if the other criteria is met, 2 door, well maintained, exterior black red d.schwarz or calypso, interior black or cardinal. Can be slicktop or not. No rust. Close to stock.

I see you're in CO. If you're interested in a trade I don't think I would want to drive my car out there. I have driven cars from CA so if you are confident in your 318 I would road trip it back.

              Bump 11.5

Get an m3 like feel in a track car without having to track an m3 or take that s50 out of your m3 and now you have increased the value of that m3 by close to what I'm asking for this car. Like everything m3 these engines will only increase in value and become harder to find especially a complete swap ready drive train like what I am offering.

I have received many requests for just the engine. The engine would be simple to remove for anyone with some mechanical skill.

The car is now back on Long Island (11710) since it will sell easier in this location.

Video and pictures are all from yesterday 9/10/17. I live off a dirt road so she is rather dusty in the pics. Shown with BBS RS wheels, racing seats and momo wheel to show how she could look done up.

It was for sale for a few weeks.
