Advice needed.. Please.
Hey what's up guys. I'm posting here in hopes that I can get some advice on the potential purchase of an E30.
I only have these pictures and a price at this point but I am meeting the owner to see the car tomorrow and I will have to make him an offer if I am interested. Problem is, I don't know much about E30s and I am mechanically challenged.
What I know from the owner is that this is a 1988 325i with a 2.5/2.7 engine, mechanically sound with no major problems, needs a front bumper. No history available.
From my initial research, the asking price is on the low side of what E30s typically go for here in Bahrain at USD 2900.
My plans for the car would be to fix it up mechanically so that it runs well, make it look as clean and as stock as possible and maybe later, upgrade the suspension and wheels to make it sit pretty.
PS: I normally take my time researching things before hand but I don't have much time on my hands between today and tomorrow. I would really appreciate any advice.
