    325iX Clutch replacement

    Hey guys,

I have another question. I'm planning on redoing the complete suspension of my iX Touring. While it's in the air, I'd also like to replace the seals and bearings in the T case and since the T case will be out of the car, I think it's a good time to also replace the clutch while I'm in there.

However, the Sachs clutch for the iX is not available any more
Does the regular 325i clutch kit also fit? Does anyone know what the difference is between both?

    iX clutch: 3000 132 002
    325i clutch: 3000 950 058

According to the Sachs online catalogue, only the pressure plate is different?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

There's no difference in the clutches or pressure plate.

My understanding is the IX clutch is slightly heavier/stiffer spring more along the line of the M3 clutch. Standard 325i clutch fits just fine and will be easier on your left leg .
