PO ended up cutting the fog lights off near the fender, so I got a donor harness for the connectors for the fog lights. After splicing up all the wires, the passenger side was inop. I switched the lights around and the passenger side still wouldn't come on. I did a continuity test and had a connection from the fuse to the connector, but I also had continuity from the connector to the ground. I figured the wire was damaged, and tracing the original wire back I found a nick in the wire. I wrapped it up, respliced everything, and still had continuity to the ground. I pulled out the driver side connector and also had continuity to the ground.
Is this normal? I was under the impression that the power should be isolated and not ringing to the ground.
