What protection if any do these offer for the oil pan? What modifications would we have to make to accommodate something like this (https://catuned.com/catuned-skid-plate-armor-e30) for extra protection.

With our M30 mounts yes. We have not checked on other more mounts. Clears m3 offset cab no problem.
Jacking up by the x brace is not a good idea unfortunately.
