1987 325i Convertible bought used off eBay in 2011. It was shipped to Ohio from Chicago. It has the manual transmission with the Cardinal Red Leather interior, and the interior was redone in 2012. The timing belt, tensioner, and water pump were replaced a few weeks after the car was delivered as I had no idea of the service history and the car had 120K on it when purchased. Three years ago these parts were all replaced again when the car had around 135K on it. Over the years there has been a full redo of suspension. It has new brakes, calipers, rotors and wheel bearings installed. Replaced all belts, hoses, brake lines, new heater core, new clutch and pressure plate and a new 13 button OBC.Two years ago the right front fender and the rear tail panel were replaced when the whole car was painted. The fuel tank, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump were replaced last week. I believe all of the fuel lines on the car have now been replaced from back to front. Major items that still need done are replacing the convertible top, upgrading the A/C, and checking the cruise control. I also would like to replace the non-working OEM radio with a newer non-stock radio in order to use bluetooth. When I bought the car the cruise control stalk was missing and I later found it in the trunk under the spare tire but I still haven't tried to replace it.
