    In the throws of confusion.
hoping you will know the difference in measuring 1.5 cubic feet..

summarizing, im creating a spare tire (fiberglass) enclosure for a 15"dvc, and need volume of 1.5 cubic feet

in many online conversions, i get wet and dry, u.s. gallons.
    a bit confused, and well.

considering this is your area of expertise, i have to ask.

i know going a bit smaller is better than too big, but exactly how many gallons should i go for before i cut the top edge and seal it up ??

i can fit 12 + gallons in the dimensions i made sofar, and considering the size of the basket and magnet, i should be around 11.7 gallons for 1.5 cubic feet,,,but thats "wet gallons"...

wtf is a (deleted) dry gallon anyways ? and should i care ?
how many gallons should i base 1.5 cubic feet on ? ( water form a hose into a plain ole safeway gallon of water "jug" )

    thanks for any help.
    btw.
