    m42 Code 1215

    Hello,

I bought a 92 318i convertible (140,000 miles) a couple weeks ago and redid the entire cooling system this weekend, the car came with a bunch of new parts so I figured I'd install them. Went ahead and did the thermostat, housing, water pump and radiator. Now it's throwing the 1215 code after I put everything back together and did the stomp test. I'm not sure what I did wrong. The only sensor I messed with is the crank position sensor to remove the thermostat housing. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks!

1215 seems to be MAF related, I'm going to assume you didn't touch/move the airbox.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

correct. Didn't need to mess with it. Only thing I did was open the filter box to see if I needed a new one...
