    I bought another project/daily

My finger slipped, I bought a 2000 Range Rover 4.6 HSE for $2600. Yes I know the parts are expensive, yes I know they have problems, etc. But I love this thing! It's boxy like my E30, it's comfortable and not stiff like my E30. It has a few issues going into it but it should be a fun project. The previous owner did a favor for me and swapped out the air bags for shocks and springs.

      you poor poor bastard.

about 3 or 4 years ago, my dad and i went to an auction. someone was selling one of these and a parts car to go along with it. the whole mess sold for about 800 bucks. my dad asked me if he thought he should buy it to resell. my response was that he should run from it like a scared little girl. i said that even if the owner paid us 800 bucks we should avoid that beast.

I do hear this a lot, but I have a slight advantage. I work at a European repair shop with all the diagnostic and programming equipment with worldpac as a parts supplier. So far nothing is out of my league and it drives smooth as hell and has 0 leaks.

Before you bought a British car.

Good luck, and no M50 swaps (I know, not the same).

Does anyone enjoy these cars as much as I have the last week?

Honestly I need to test the off road capability still. But, I am confident in its abilities.

Me too its how I ended up with a FZJ80 instead, thank my starts too since I have put almost 20k on that OLD TLC many of which in Very remote country, with very little in the way of mandatory repairs and its just about to roll 200k. Never would have happened in a Rangie or DII
