Last week I ate mushrooms with the CFO of Hydrofarm at my river house and tripped balls walking through creeks and forest terrain. Does this adventure warrant time served in prison?
-Did we rob someone to get them? No.
-Did we get in a bar fight or any fight at all? No.
-Did we go driving while intoxicated? No.
-Are we selling off possessions to support our habits? No.
-Did we chloroform a baby and drop it off at a river bed? No.
No harm, no foul. We went to a secluded, safe area that was on my property and saw the world from a different perspective.
Yet drug consumption is considered a deviant activity and only those on the margins of society participate...bullshit.
i wana hangout with you sir!
lol
the best memories i have with my brother are toking the green and going on hikes, surfing, any where we can swim really. always busting missions.
there is a difference between dangerous drug users and recreational users. i know here in MD marijuana alone will get someone serious time, and that is the bottom of the barrel low level most common drug.
this isn't a debate on if mary jane should be legal or not, or even if drugs should be legal. its about the punishment fitting the crime. do we send people away to prison for huffing paint? nope. so if a person is caught having a gram of coke or a bag of shrooms, should they immediately be locked up??? with the harmful and dangerous murderers who frequent our prisons?

Look at drug usage/abuse rates in Amsterdam and compare to here and get back to me.
And I've seen way more crazy shit from alcohol. You must not have attended college or public high school?
In high school/college, most friends who drank ended up with DUI's, wrecked cars, going out and getting in fights, smashing mailboxes, throwing trash cans through car windows.
The stoners, would, uhhhhhhhhhh, ummmmmm........go to the fridge for more snacks? The kids into mushrooms/acid would go to a "safe place," in other words, someone's parents who were out of town, someone who lived on some land, etc, and just trip balls without being around anyone else or fucking with anyone else.
That's been my experience with alcohol/drugs.
The only things I never tried were the real hard stuff like Heroin, Crack, Meth. But pot, blow, acid, opium, hash, etc all were fair game back then.
I guess I'm just not real sure why most in America has such a big problem with someone wanting to unwind and escape reality and it's stresses for a bit?
lmao. not only did i go to public school my entire life but i am attending college as we speak...and i can guarantee 100% i know what affects drugs can do. I've seen and been part of things that would have you shitting your pants from that side of the computer that are drug related so save me the lecture please. You might have "Land" to go and trip on out where you live but here in LA its a lot different. I was referring to the hard stuff since from the beginning of the thread it was about all drugs. I cant think of one person in my list of contacts who wasn't or isn't a pot head so i know they dont go crazy...
we can all go ahead and google statistics so congrats on that one boss. How about i gather a bunch of my memories from the 7 European countries i've been in and get back to you yes?
And their are other ways to relax and escape the stress you have at work so don't give me crap about needing drugs to relax because if so many of us can do it without drugs then you don't need it, you just need an excuse.
im not gonna debate anymore even though it's fun (really it is)]

I can see that you want to play the "one up, I've seen some crazy shit" game. Guess what, most other people have dealt with some crazy shit in their life too. Only the rest of us aren't so santimonius to somehow think our life experience is so much more well versed than anyone elses.

Pshh, okay mom.
First of all, did you really just compare personal experience with national statistics? Come on bro.
Second, save the "stress" lecture for someone else. That sounded like some shit my grandmother wouldn't even preach. EVERYONE in their own way encounters stress and relieves stress in their own way. Some take a vacation, some have a drink when they get home, some a bowl, a massage, or simply blow their brains out. How we deal with this is our own personal decision, and shouldn't be influenced or criticized by others.

you crack me up dude. who said they are playing the "one up" since last i remember your the one who brought up personal experience first then decided to claim i must attended a private school and your public school experiences would "one up" my experience in this subject? or at least thats what you implied consciously or subconsciously
And to add to what you said. I am not against someone coming home to smoke a j or have a drink to relax but now we are going off topic. The topic was to "let them kill themselves" so we are obviously not talking about the people who sit and smoke a j or have a drink to relax.

this is open to so much interpretation im going to go in a stupid direction with it. So if my stress relief is to beat my wife? then you have no rite to criticize or intervene?]

I mean fuck, some lady just killed her kid and lied about it for 31 days. She's out in a year, SICK.
she was in county for three years prior to the trial.
off topic.

Uh no shit? Yes it's on topic. We were talking about criminal sentencing and I brought that up as an example.
That's a bad example bro, it's obviously at the expense of another person. Drug use is personal "self destruction" which I'm saying should be no ones business. If someone were to do some coke and slap their wife up, that's entirely different.

All I'm saying is I think the government and their over zealous bureaucrats should stay the fuck out of my life and personal decisions. If I wanna eat mushrooms and hike in a field, let me. Just because you may reside in LA and don't have that at your disposal doesn't give you the right to restrict my recreational activities.

this pretty much sums it up.
when i said let them go and they will kill themselves, its implied that they wont all go die. many will continue to live their lives in a harmless manor, while others will meet death by their hand.
the movie minority report comes to mind.

This is your choice, if dont want to be convicted of such things then dont do them, other wise dont bitch and complain about the consequences if you are caught. I dont care one way or the other what you do with your life if you wish to kill your brain cells in this mannerOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

I'm not bitching or complaining in anyway. If you want to be an ignorant douche bag, go ahead and defend the waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles. She did it though, and got away. The prosecutors blew it, but anyone with six brain cells can see that she's guilty.
I'm not going to be pursueded or influenced in anyway by the opinions or criticism of a man behind a computer known as "mr. sleeve"
I was voicing my opinion on the matter, that's it.
