    Nice.

    Niiiiice.

    Lapped.

Also this: I've always wanted to do sharkface E30, when I saw it on epiphy's baja project car I was sold. So I got bored and played with silver sharpie and drew up a rough draft.

Was thinking about getting personalized plates that say TNKBSTR for the A10 Warthog.

I'm in the middle of the exact same disaster and rebuild. Lapping the exhausts now, then going to start putting it all back together. Keep the photos coming man, they look great.

#1's valves are off the table, he's probably got it rotated so none are touching.

this pitting in the gasket surface, do I have to worry about it?

screw it, throwing it together. swabbed and tapped head bolt holes TWICE, cleaned top of block with brake cleaner then alcohol and dropped the gasket on. Everybody loves a little GOATZE.

Very nice work. I am all too familiar with this annoying/expensive/time-consuming job. It came out perfect for me though, should be the same for you.
