I myself will go with 5...my girlfriend kept bugging me to help out on "garage days," so finally I let her. She did a better job than my friends usually do! Looks like "garage day" can be "girlfriend" day too... :)

i'll say 3-4, she SoMETIMES complains, but very rarely. I don't know about buying parts when its not my b-day, but i think its happened maybe once. I wouldn't want a 5. Garage time = dude time. We work on cars, drink beer, talk about hot women, sports, ect. Its just not a world that the gf belongs in.
