I have not, but I haven't looked into it. Its supposed to be a wingnut of some size.

Things are slowing down a bit on my m3 at the moment. But I've been getting my m3 fix by helping out a friend on his.

      Okay, back to my car.

I pulled the electric fan out to paint it, as it had a good amount of overspray on it.

Not quite dry yet when I took this, just used trim paint.

And finally got the steering rack replaced. Pulled what looks to be from a z3 rack. Cleaned up the m3 rack before putting it in. Also replaced the reservoir and tie rod boots.

Also did engine mounts at the same time. Was a lot easier to access the driver side mount with the rack out.

Glad I got the rack swapped before winter. Huge thanks to my friend Erik for helping me out, wouldn't have been possible without him.

Not much has been going on, about to put the car away.

I ended up buying another set of smilies, as the other ones werent quite up to par with the rest of the car. The new bosch set I got is very clean.

I took the time to replace more cheap hardware that was used for the headlights.

And to replace the non heatshrink butt connectors I used before. Next time I have the bumper off I will re-do the splices for the city lights.

Using my 325 with us elips to help aim the lights. For some odd reason, the us elips have better cutoff.

I replaced my eh looking door cards with some minty ones, with the manual window crank hole, as it should be for a 88.

Also a friend of mine said my trunk was kinda shaking over bigger bumps in the road, so I adjusted this little stopper on the back. Seems to be better now.

Well, I filled the m3 up with non-oxy gas a few weeks ago (to help prevent rust in the gas tank) and put the m3 away.

I decided to remove the rear spoiler and keep it inside my house to avoid cracking in the paint, which is very common.

Also, not sure if I mentioned this, but I bought a new oem e30 cover. Fits great!

                Thanks!

Just some insulation to help against flat spots. Ill probably roll the car around a bit on them throughout the winter too.

Just busting your balls, nice that you have another great car to drive in the snow. Driving a E30 in the snow isnt so bad. I love this pic of my old Zinno ES. Surrounded my SUVs

From the picture you posted showing the headlight cutoffs, you have your ellipsoids setup for RHD. You will be blinding the hell out of oncoming traffic like that. The uptick should go up to the right, to illuminate road signs. You should be able to loosen and rotate each projector to switch them to LHD.

I like what you are doing to the car, might have to spend some time in the US doing the same.

Keep it up, love the progress you are making

It is stored away for the winter. I have plans for the spring, though. :)

I realized that once I turned the lights on. I switched them to LHD after I took the pictures.

Nope. We kinda just knocked it out and didnt spend much time taking pictures or anything. Swap was completed though in relatively short time. Thing is a beast, and the csl box sounds AMAZING.
