    Turbo m52 87 325 race car

I bought this car to get it running and flip it... Well things didn't go according to plan so I decided a 24v swap was in store. As things progressed I decided I wanted it to have a turbo. Then it became a race car. Here's some photos of it.

Day I bought it from up at English Racing

Is it too late to get an accurate weight on the DSS CF driveshaft?

No, it's not. I'm having a rear subframe remade to fit it through the tunnel, run a e46 diff with some custom dss axles.

Great. I'm trying to drop weight off my E36 any way I can. I'm not sure I want to drop the coin that DSS wants for that driveshaft, but if there's some weight to be saved over my current 16 3/4 lb OEM driveshaft I might take the plunge.

Well it's rated at 20 lbs. I believe shipping weight was 22lbs. So if yours is around 16, it will had weight

I have a hard time understanding that, but I know for certain that my current OEM driveshaft is 16 3/4. I weighed it on a digital fish scale.

Haha I was like damn you work fast till I read the 2 years progress part.
Excited to see how all this turns out. You're doing a few things you hear people do, but never really post much about which is awesome.

Not sure if you could take an up-close picture of the weave on the carbon DS, maybe with a coin for scale? Just interested on how large and what sort of weave they use for it.

I think the revshift guibo with the carbon one piece shaft may be a recipe for disaster too. The OEM guibo holds a hell of a lot of power, and with both the DSS shaft and revshift guibo both being well known for adding vibration, it might lead to a problem in the future.

Also, which turbo manifold is that? I didn't see anything about it

Solid work! From the background of the workshop photo looks like there is some fun cars being built there.

Looking forward to see the work progress

Damn cool project, subbed! Looks like you do great work!

Also in for more details regarding the haltech. I never really knew much about them until I started watching mighty car mods, and lately I've seen a couple builds using them.
