I'm going through my car looking at vacuum lines and noticed the fuel lines are cracking as well. Can I just go get the basic fuel line from a local parts store and call it good? I was under the impression that it shouldn't be used in fuel injection applications due to the higher pressure.

You should use FI rated hose for all fuel lines since non FI hose does not tolerate ethanol. You can usually get 5/16 FI hose from Napa which will work although the correct size is 8mmx11mm. I paid $32 for a 5m spool which will do both lines in the engine compt on 2.5 cars. Works out really well if you have .5 car laying around :-)Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
