    LS Swap won't start

Hi all. Dealing with an issue with my Ls swap. The car won't start the starter engages but won't spin. I checked the battery and it is good installed a new starter still the same thing hooked up extra grounds tried jumping it and it still does the same thing I had my old starter tested and had no issues as well. What could it be? Any insight would be helpful

Does the motor turn over by hand?

stock flywheel and clutch setup? what trans? i cant remember if the LS1 uses shims for the starter or not, but the starter may be too close to the flywheel so they are binding, preventing the motor from turning over.

Motor turns by hand freely it is a truck starter with an ls7 flywheel. I'm going manually jump the starter and see if the bmw ignition switch is not sending enough amps and if that doesn't work I will shim it

yea if the motor turns by hand, and the starter works when bench testing, sounds to me it has to be a bad engagement of the starter and flywheel.

Yeah I am an idiot didn't have it wired correctly. It turns over but the ECU I was told had VATS removed does not so I should be getting it back tonight finishing up the exhaust and hopefully it is on the ground this weekend.
