I'm planning on replacing the timing belt soon, and figured I'd change out as many components as I can while I'm there. The radiator currently fitted to the car is 550mm x 439mm x 34mm. I wanted to buy a behr replacement, but I don't think they make a radiator in this size with the correct inlet/outlet placement.
I heard some people fit E28 radiators which are 575mm x 470mm x 34mm if I'm not mistaken. However, from what I've seen, people that do this are also running a different engine, and with an electric fan. If I wanted to keep the m20, and fan clutch setup, would this radiator fit? Or would it require some trickery to fit? Is this even worth the hassle, or should I just get a nissens radiator instead? I already bought a set of new BMW radiator hoses.
Manual transmission, A/C, M20B25...
Thank you
