Decided to shorten the bumper shocks today, man you guys weren't kidding about oil spraying everywhere so I drilled them in the box :)

        Before and after

        Both done

Need to figure out how short I want them to be for a good fit and then probably get them welded.

I cant get over how baddass your early modle looks. That paint just looks mint and the wheels makes the big bumpers fit.

I am glad this is done maybe next weekend I'll tackle rear bumper to do the same (I couldn't find 3rd nut on each side of the rear bumper shock for some reason and couldn't get them out).

Cut the license plate bracket to the same width as the rub strip until I find a filler plate. :D

I am not a big turbo fan, thinking more on the lines of a e36 swap with good cams etc, but maybe turbo it for about a year or two depends on how many things I'll need and cost to turbo the m10 etc.

ditto, been looking for some gold mesh with polished lip.

                      are they zenkis or something?

Nice clean early model you got there .

And yes the wheels are making that car .

You should try painting the bumper surrounds and maybe even the bumpers themselves body color .
Best mod you can do to early bumpers besides tucking them .

WOW! seeing the car as a whole (not a front and rear half pics) gives a better idea of how it looks! nice work on the bumper tuck, but as I said euro bumps would be right at home with the 80's styled Enkei rims! here's a pic to show how they look...

Anyway you've done an amazing job! yours is one of my favorite diving board equipped e30 for sure!!

Wow, that car is beautiful. You just convinced me that the early wheel arches are a GOOD thing. The stance is killer. WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE WHEELS?
