ok fellas I got the cams installed last night.
I also did pink tops, 540 maf and a tms chip.

I took a few videos so you all could see.

The car breaks loose bad, the power is nutz. the timing is still off a little so after that it will be crazy.

keep in mind while taking these it was fuckin cold, I have no heat and I was holding the wheel and camera all with one hand while trying to hold on. :o

Its a M50TU from a e34.
I installed the S52 cams with the M52 cam trays and lifters. They are the same as the S52 cam trays.

I've been debating doing s50 cams in mine. I have the same engine, e34 m50b25tu. Do you have the tools for it?

Would you say it's worth it for the $500-$600 it costs (cams/software)?

What changes have you noticed in the powerband? I've heard it stays the same below 4k, and above 4k it just keeps pulling harder and harder, and you end up with 20-30 whp more by 6500.

oh nice, i have s50 cams in mine except i dont have the bigger injectors nor does it have a tune. it pulls pretty damn hard though.

I have 500 into the cams, chip, maf, inj, and cam trays.
I bought the tools to do it.
Cam lock. flywheel lock and the chain lock tool.
If your using the M20 flywheel then the flywheel lock wont work.

did you install everything in one shot? i want to get the bigger injectors and the larger maf but im not quite sure its worth the money...i read in a previous thread that the car becomes smoother.

Yup I did it all at once.
Im going to be installing a Dr vanos stage 2 unit here soon.
Prolly sometime after Christmas. But if the snow is bad then she will sit.
