    E30 318i 1986 24V M50B25 EURO

This is my first car, got it 30 dec 2009, got it with the tacometer at 79,158km thats 49,186mi, i got it about a month after my 16th birthday, i got the car completely original with snow tires on it with the uglyest 3spoke rims ever,, i quickly switched them out for the original bottlecaps and its been on them since jan 2010,,

    Chilling with my brothers 330ZHP

Here it is on bottlecaps =D

First mod came =D M-tech1 wheel shitty pic tho

Couple of pics from the first time i cleaned it,, cleaned up nice,,

Toolkit,, is it complete or? i didnt notice anything missing at the time, and havent looked at is since

Still has the original key-"chain" holder or whatever its called,,

What it came with not a long list

Next came suspension and brakes,, I put Mtech Springs in the front wich i cut one ring off, and lowtec shocks all around with lowtech rear springs,,

old stuff,, small brakes and old strut/spring/damper

    OUT with the old

(the new strut from a 325i had a broken spring in it, Its some lowtec lowering spring witch i just got rid of)

IN with the New to me,,

Looked lower right away though it wasnt much, not everyone would notice, its lowered like 3cm in the front and 1,5 in the back,

RAKE haha, but the springs havent settled there,,

    My immaculate brown interior =D

Then came the rear suspension install,,

    Shorter springs :D

No pics from the install though :$

i drove like a mile from where im renting my garage, and my oil pump took a dump on me, had to park the car,,

Left it like this in the garage 2 days before a track day i was hoping to get to :(

BUT i found a used one real cheap and swapped it, made the snow day and had alot of fun, only one pic from that though..

Then i decided i wanted fog lights, Bought aftermarket hellas as the originals run me about 600$ shipped to iceland,, :(

installed them with custom brackets and liking it

One rolling pic taken by my friend :D

Couple of random pics of it..

Heres a couple of pics from track days, All with M10B18 automatic and open diff,, shows what you can do with no power and no drivers license

Then came the hunger for drift! i had to get more power and either a lsd or Welded diff

M10 out, getting ready for the M50

M50 chilling waiting to get in the garage,,

Like 3 days later the M50 was in,, with 325ix brake booster, and G260 gearbox

Vid from the first start, didnt keep it on for long as it was past midnight on a wednesday :D DONT MIND THE MUSIC shitty song on the radio!

After that, i was just waiting for the driveshaft, had it shortened. took them like a week, and i was on my last nerve, got it back, and they didnt do it right, returned it and they fixed it for free, after that it went straight to the exhaust shop, have a 2,5" straight pipe with a 4" tube in the middle to damp the sound a bit, dual tip muffler wich i didnt really like first but im getting used to it..wanna change it out for stainless steel someday, but not right away,,

Here is a vid from the first time i drove it, Not everyone has swapped a M50B25 into an e30 at the age of 16, i looved driving it for the first time!

Not to good idle, its because it didnt have the brake vaccum line..

YAAAAAYYY,, went for my first real drive after having a brake line blow on me,, and clutch problems,, i was reeeeeeaaally happy to have it running and i didnt get home till about 6:00AM :giggle:

,, some random pics after the swap, taken just recently like a month or so ago,,

Got my ipod hooked up to the original Casette player!

KM status as of 15 sept,,

Got to one track day before the summer was over here in iceland,, couple of pics from it :D need sway bars ASAP :D

Thats with a 100% locked diff ESAB ftw, Cheap and always lock's when you want it to :nice: Also the pic where they are pushing me, is because the car overheated, it was because the electric fan i installed broke 2 of its mounts, and went like 2 inches from the radiator, and wasnt doing anything, i fixed it the day after and it hasnt overheated since even though i have been doing alot of "drifting"... That pretty much brings us up to date on the car,, i was going to order rims for it, but then i got a speeding ticket, so that wont happen right away.. Hope you like it:D

    Best regards from iceland!

Totally clean looking, reminds me of my car in many ways.

^This looks like a pic out of the sales brochure.

Nicely done, I love the pre-facelift (euro) 2dr's. And the bottlecaps work, keep them and BTW excellent sleeper. You have re-inspired to do a PF E30.

Thank you for that, always fun to get compliments on it. :D Im gonna be lowering it more for the summer, and putting 17" inch rims on the front so that i can get more grip in the front, it sucks to understeer while your trying to oversteer haha
