    I get alot of requests for info on this car. I've been collecting parts and chipping away at this thing for close to ten years now, my goal has always been to acheive race car performance in a naturally aspirated daily driver capable vehicle. Last time I had it on a dyno it put down about 220bhp but I have made quite a few improvements since then. I will update this thread as the project evolves or until a serious BMW or driving enthusiast buys it from me and I move on to another project.


    Body

    1984 BMW E30 323i - Delphin Metallic
    Late model plastic bumper and front valence conversion
    Hartge late model body kit incl: front spoiler, skirts, rear wing

    325i "885" cylinder head, fully machined and ported
    ARP Head studs

    Innovate Motorsports gauge cluster mounted in BMP AC delete gauge panel, AFR, WT, OP



    Fluids

    Engine: Pennzoil SAE 25W50 GT Performance Racing Oil for its high zddp content
    Gearbox and Diff: Redline Shockproof Gear Oil

    my god. This is built for business. Good show man, come to the e30 picnic with this!


    The only thing I would change is adding some sort of rear apron. Without a bigger one it really makes the car look higher and more naked than it is.

      Very nice setup. What kind of power do you expect?

      I assume you're using light shockproof gear oil? The heavy stuff is like a liquid red crayola crayon. I've used it in well worn diffs before.
      I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.
