E30 overfenders

Does anyone know if there are other styles of overfenders available for the E30? All I can find are this style, and I don't like them at all. Way too many rivets, and way too round/bulbous:

Anyone know if 510 fender wells are close to the same size as the ones on an E30? Lord knows I'm not beyond modifying something to make it fit. :D

Looks like that front bumper could fit an e30. Under $200 shipped on ebay.

Josh, on the Ireland style flares there is no "right" amount of rivets. It's up to the installer.

Eurostop also sells a different style flare, not sure if it's your cup-o-tea.

Stupid question...if you're willing to do that why not just go with the M3 fenders? fronts bolt on and the fiberglass rears can be riveted on. Or what about aggressively rolling out the stock fenders.

If I was ever going to go with M3 fenders, I'd want to do the real ones front and rear (bolt the fronts in and graft in the rears), along with the front/rear bumpers and side skirts.

I know that you don't have to use that many rivets on the IE ones, but it's mainly the shape of them that I hate, they're way too round and bulged out. I really like the look and style of the ones on that 510, which is also why I'm not really into just flaring out the existing metal fenders. I like the look of the ones above, and beyond that, doing a full pull and flare of the stock sheet metal would require a ton of body and paint work. Not that I would just sawzall the stock ones out and bolt the new ones on, of course I would make it clean.

The Eurostop ones aren't bad, and I know I sound like the pickiest person in the world, but they're a bit larger than what I'm after. I'm wondering if the ones on that 510 came from something else.

I think the style of the 510 flares look great. Much better than the IE ones.

BMP design has some that are not quite a round looking and seem to be more of an angle similar to the stock body.

DTM is also a place to look

Nah i hear you. Ive been looking for the perfect flare myself, the IE ones shape is off

I've always wanted to try some 240zg flares they are easily available from datsun part sites.

From pictures I have seen they dont seem to be too bad.

I know they dont have the extra little lip near the edge.

seams like the eurostop ones are the closest to that style, just trim them up so the dont come down as much




I remember a guy on bimmerforums that built a blue E36 with some JDM looking fender flares, You might want to search around on the track build section

I'm sure you could make the Datsun flares fit with a little love and manipulation.
