3.0L 1989 325is Smogged for sale**SOLD**
Up for sale is my Schwarz stroked 3.0L 1989 325is 5speed with under 220k chassis and 70k engine.
There is no way in hell I would put this car up for sale if I:
a)was single
b)had no child(ren)
c)had enough disposable income to keep this car and have a 4 door for daddy duties
But I have hit all 3 whammies and its time to move on.
Too many things to list but ill start here:
Engine:
-M20 stroked to a 3.0 by Pete McHenry @ Precision Performance.
-Block has been bored and honed.
-Forged steel custom crank and bearings connected to M3 connecting rods with custom forged pistons.
-7000 rpm chip for 91 octane.
-Yellow top 19# injectors
-Custom FPR
-Custom 3" exhaust system with Vibrant muffler.
-E30 AFM with a stock box K&N filter.
I have all the documentation provided by PO with hand written notes and emails from PP and signed by Pete.
Suspension:
-Ground control coilovers (440F 650R)
-Re-valved Koni Yellow adjustable shocks.
-Strut towers have been shortened as well.
-GC Touring camber plates up front
-Suspension Technique Sway bars F and B.
-M3 offset CABs.
-Sparco shock tower brace in the front with Ireland engineering stainless steel strut tower brace in the back
-IE billet urethane rear shock mounts.
**Also uninstalled rear subframe with fully adjustable toe and camber adjusters welded. IE Poly mounts and trailing arm bushings.
Interior: All new rebuilt seats with new shocks and new seatbelt receptacles wrapped in genuine gray BMW perforated leather centers and genuine BMW vinyl bolsters provided by Veteran. The door cards front and back are gray as well. Momo Competition steering wheel with e30 hub. Custom cupholder and ZHP knob.
Drivetrain: Getrag 260 with a performance stage 2 clutch and a 3.73 rear end.
Exterior: Original and authentic AC Schnitzer rear apron and side skirts. Ryan G Splitter with iS lip. Depo Crosshair Smoked Smileys with custom plug and play adapters. Smoked front turn Signals(BNIB). Today installed Euro Trim in the front and BNIB rears not yet installed.
Wheels:
Rolling on 14" Basketweaves.
and
5 x 15" IX weaves wrapped in Toyo Proxes 225/50/15 T1R(one bent but holds air, the rest have minor curb damage) with 20mm spacer and extended lug bolts.
Other new items: Aluminum radiator. Distributor cap and rotor. Water pump, t belt , tensioner and other belts replaced by Yert315(the urban mechanic Trey) less then 10k ago. Valves adjusted by Shant(Myster-E) the HeadMaster less than 5k ago. New header and exhaust gaskets. New slave cylinder with steel braided line. Custom shifter carrier with delrin bushings and a Z3 1.9 shifter. New CSB. New rotor blanks and stoptech pads. 6month old battery. 8months ago replaced Lower Control arms. SI board replaced with new temp gauge.
I also will throw in everything I have hoarded for the past 2 years. Including such things as stock suspension bits and springs.
Elipsoids.
Mtech I steering wheel which is a 9/10.
Boxes of interior trim and other things.
Stainless steel braided brake lines from IE.
BNIB Master clutch cylinder.
1 chrome bottlecap.

All I am asking for is: DO NOT Lowball me. I am not parting anything out. I dont want trades. If you do not know what any of this is or how much it costs to do any of this stuff, or how this handles or how much HP or Torque this has and if its faster than an M5x or S5x, do not PM me or even attempt to think you are going to "steal this" from me. I am not putting this on CL to avoid the dumb and I know there are some of you in here but I want this car to go to a good home.
I am very honest and will provide everything I have. Some of you in SoCal know me and have noticed I have been MIA because of family constraints.
Some of you have even driven this car and know what it handles and pulls like. I am not fluffing anything, I just need to move on to a bigger car. I am not here to over inflate the market or to make money.
I have been in and out of this car and have seen no rust what so ever, no frame damage or any other damage. It has always been a CA car according to AutoCheck and 1 accident has happened during my ownership where someone hit my driver side mirror(I have a new replacements for L and R). Clear title with pink slip in hand.
The bad parts about the car is its missing a headliner. I took it off to get a new one made but never got to it. Cracks on the dash. Broken passenger side lower door sill. It has a few dings and scratches but the paint is still good with no peeling clearcoat.
All I am asking for is:
$OLD(talked to me in cash)
I just smogged it 2/23/13 and it passed with flying colors. Proves what a clean strong engine it is according to CA emissions.
