First off, LOL @ picture of S14 for a 325, and LOL @ "This is an extensively tuned performance chip to give your BMW that power you need.
It is recommended to have at least intake, headers, and exhaust."

So make sure to reinstall your intake and exhaust before using this.

If that stuff isn't enough to keep you away, best of luck to you.

^^Agree with above post, ebay chips are a crap shoot if you get a good one or not, especially one recommending intake/headers and exhaust.

Reputable chips drop in without any other mods. OP save money and buy from a reputable shop that supports the community.

To answer your question, it is labeled as tuned for a 173 ECU.

I'll be honest I looked at Ebay chips before. For the price difference I've thought of getting one for my E34. Although the ad for these seems alittle more legit than what the OP posted.

Considering that this is probably just a copy of a reputable chip you probably won't be too bad off, but you could always buy a well reviewed one second hand from someone here.

I bought an ebay chip off bargains_oc.
Car seems to run better, quieter idle. Not much of a performance gain but they do seem to work.

I've got a chip off the bay before. Raised rev limit to 7k and overall noticeable power increase.

The old saying..."you get what you paid for" always holds true.

Unless of course it fell off the back of a truck. Or in this case if another persons work was ripped of and burned to a new chip.

heh, I wonder how much tuning an M20, that was made 20 years ago, has changed in the last 10 years?
