sounds like you're leaving some important details out of the story. did you make a paypal claim without contacting the guy first or something? because that's what i'm getting from reading between the lines. if that's the case and your attitude was roughly the same right from the get go then yes, you pretty much were being a dick. it's not the sellers' responsibility to remember what your new address is, it's your responsibility to correct it on paypal.

OP sounds like a whining child.

              Sounds

It sounds as if the seller is trying to make it right and follow through within a reasonable time.

Sure, I'd be upset about the missing grill and the added work but the address issue stems from the musical chairs you started.

Meh. I could see both sides.

              Hope this issue gets resolved.

Man there are buyers on this board that wait over a year for their items. How these sellers manage to stay in business is beyond me.

No, i did not file a paypal claim.

You are right to say my address is my problem not the sellers. I was/am going to swing by the other address on my way home from work. The only reason it was even relevant is because not being at my primary address meant my roommate could not open it on my behalf and verify the contents. All i was saying is that it would take another couple hours!

I for one endorse and support BMW recyclers, and I've never dealt with them.

there's a such thing as a shitty business, but there are also shitty customers.

you sir, are one of them.

In a world where sellers act like children how can you blame me for wanting communication on the record?

*shrug* sorry you feel that way. It was a less than ideal situation that i myself had a large part in creating. It is not reasonable to think that anyone can leave their place of employment mid day to grab a package from any address.

There is a big difference between a confusing situation and the seller resorting to name calling and threats.

I'd really beg to differ on who's acting like a child.

so you didn't file a paypal claim, you filed an ebay claim, presumably without ever contacting the seller in the first place

                            still a dick move bro

I always considered the grill to be part of the knee panel. At any rate...it's a fucking door chime! I think you can live without it until you are able to go get it. Shit like this happens when you buy stuff online. So he sent it to the address listed in paypal instead of the one you designated...big deal.

With that said, I don't think either of you handled the situation well.
