Ding Dong The (Panjo) Witch Is Dead...

    Good bye Panjo.

I won't tell you I told you so - but I kinda told you so. :)

Thanks mods. We all owe you a favor.

since we started using that abomination of bullshit, i have not sold a single item here. i guess i will sell something just to celebrate.

i was on bimmerforums a couple days ago and i noticed they have a section for selling on panjo and a separate section just opened up for no panjo. maybe they are phasing it out too?

Excellent! I'll happily admit that I ceased selling items here after the Panjo integration. Used it once or twice, but didn't like the format, nor the fees. Glad to have the standard classifieds back!

I knew it would happen eventually. Like stated before too, if admins are looking for someone to monitor the for sale section and deal with the babies I'd happily do it. Just glad we got the old way back and hopefully breathes some life back into this place before its too late. We are down to about 2-3 dozen members that post and stay somewhat active it seems.

Thankfully. I just kept editing a pre-panjo post I had to sell anything.

Glad the mods listened. I might actually use the classifieds section again.

I've got some stuff I've been sitting on because CL didn't seem like a good place to sell... and panjo was here. So maybe I can finally clear some space in my garage. :thankyou:

                          After some research....

It seems their contract ended. They started on June 27th 2016. So, that's why they are gone now.

The Panjo rep, that was assigned to R3v is Brian Lee, hasn't even visited r3v in over a month(how's that for some customer service?), and his last post was in February(yea!) so I assumed he saw the writing on the wall, and just said "F-it, I'm Audi 5000 - I'm not going to deal with this BS - I'm good with dealing with people so the engineers don't have to! I have people skills!"

Experience: Meta · Education: University of California, Los Angeles · Location: Los Angeles · 500+ connections on LinkedIn. View Brian Lee’s profile on LinkedIn, a professional community of 1 billion members.

I emailed back and forth with him dozens of time, and he was, in my opinion, clueless about customer support. Every answer came with "Oh, yea, that's how it is, let me tell you how we're not actually going to answer your question, and tell you that you can't do that....and....you'll like it that way"

Guess that didn't work out so well for you Me. Lee. Did it?

Brian Lee is now working for facebook. Yikes! https://www.linkedin.com/in/brianchenlee

The community has really shown it's colours through their outpouring of support - and money - to James after his house fire. I'd like to think this shows that he's appreciative and cares about our input.

It would be great if any future moves like Panjo were actually presented to the community before being enacted... ;D
