    Grey Market 318i?

I know all the hum bug about posting eBay auction links but this one looks like it needs to be pulled anyway.

Anyone notice anything "strange" about this 1991 318i?

      It's an 85 318i with a 1991 dashboard. Everything about that car is a 84-85 318i.

Did you happen to notice the horrible repray. Look at the picture of the trunk wher eyou can tell it used to be either bronzit or silver.

Another bit of evidence to go along with the dash replacement... Check out the mileage that's being displayed on the odometer and compare it to the mileage listed...

Whats the deal with the M10? Thants an 84-85 318i, just like the one in my driveway. What the hell is this guy trying to pull?

                      + big tails + M10 motor + No Air Bags + 84-87 bumpers = 1984-1985 318i.

I sent him a message to let him know he listing was not a 1991 318i and he basically responded with an email letting me know he didn't care because the paint "looked newer" than a 1984-85 car. I have a feeling the guy only has the salvaged title for a 1991 318i and put the dash from the salvaged car in this one because they do not have the title for it.

What a fraud.. I have a feeling the winning bidder is going to be very pissed when the go to order parts for a 1991 318i and find out why they won't fit.

The one in the auction says it's a 1991 but we know that's not true.. Someone should buy this car and sue them. Free car + money FTW!

Terms of Sale: This car is sold AS-IS. It is also sold where-is unless we agree on delivery terms beforehand.

Yeah.. but in all states it's illegal to sell a car using the title of another car to register it and I believe it's a federal offense to tamper with VIN plates on any car.

If I was selling a car and trying to pass the title from another salvaged car to sell it then I'm pretty sure that I would have a good case against me in court for a civil suit. AS-IS usually applys to the mechanical condition of the car.

Regardless I believe eBay finally pulled it.

IT says he ended it. Besides, it was listed for a $100 so who fucking cares?

Id think if he was trying to pull a fast one he might have actually asked more than a NFL 318 is worth. Im voting the seller is just a dumbass.
                              Im now E30less.
