Rear Pop Out Window "weather seal"

On the rear pop out windows on an 89 e30

There is an "inner" seal I guess and an "outer" seal... Well my driver side has both of these...

The passenger side only has the inside and I think that is where my wind noise is coming from.

    How do I replace this?

    I'm reviving this ancient thread.

I've been repainting my trim and replacing the seals. I replaced the main weather seal:

But when the window is closed, you can still see a gap between the inner and outer trim pieces. It looks like there should be a rubber seal in between like there is on the top of the door.

I ordered these two seals also. The ones on the right get inserted into the bottom trim of the pop-out. The one on the left supposedly goes around the top and back, but I don't see how this little thing will help, no matter where you attach it, will help anything at all.

Here's a link to the Parts Catalog:

Does anyone have a closeup photo of their window seals?

I just put pop outs in my 91, I did a write up for it. Really easy if you have all the parts. I am interested to see what you do OP, Mine work fine now but I am sure I will need to update parts later.
How to remove, install or convert to pop out windows

          Old thread rebump

Can you replace the main seal without removing the inner panel and how do you get to the hinges to get the window off ?

Note I've read the "conversion" threads but already have the pop outs and am just wanting to replace the seals.
