    it's possible gaskets are bad, I've heard it from other enthusiasts. One of the guys has a stock pile of old new stock lmao. Sitting in the cold probably not helpful either! Really good looking car, you're asking is a number I'm not used to seeing for e30's! GLWS

      thanks for the confirmation on this. i checked the flatness of the valve cover, meticulously cleaned the surfaces, properly torqued the cover down, and put new seals on every time. still, oil down the sides and into the spark plug channels. i gave up and just starting doing the cover 1x year with an oil change.
