Hi all,
I am contemplating selling my 87 325is with an M62 swap. This has been an ongoing project that is over 90% complete. The entire swap and every is complete and the car is 100% driveable. Most of the work left is cosmetic as I need to finish the lower valences and do some paint work. My plan is to finish the car in the spring unless it sells to someone looking for an almost complete project. The car is Bronzit over Cardinal red although when doing the engine swap, I painted the engine bay in L380 which is a 60's VW turquoise (think VW bus). I was originally planning on spraying the entire car that color, but wish I wouldn't have even bothered. The Bronzit paint is almost perfect everywhere as it was re-sprayed before I took ownership of the car. The car is quite solid inside and out. I need to tidy up the interior and get an alignment.
The car has M62 V8 out of a 5 series and a 6 speed transmission from an M5. The car is quick. It is on BC coilovers and new Baer BBK. The builder who did the swap has all of the information on the build and all of the parts that were needed. If there is interest in the car, I will get more pictures and more information.
I have invested a good amount of money into this project and just trying to get most of it back. If you are looking for a nice project that could be an absolute beauty, this may be it. Offered at $22k OBO with the MINT Schmidt TH Lines with Radinox lips or $20.5k with stock 14" basket weave wheels.

Sorry these engine pics are so dirty. If there is interest, I will most certainly clean up the car and take some better pictures. I am re-painting the engine covers which is why they are sanded down.
