SOLD: 1986 BMW 325 sedan driveable parts/project car

This is my first E30. I screwed up a valve adjustment on it and the BMW specialist shop told me it needs a new engine but couldn't find a good one (the main issue is the cyl5 exhaust valve doesn't adjust correctly). The engine makes a cacophony of noise upon acceleration and runs rough but the car is still driveable. The shop recommended me to go ahead and sell this as a parts/project car and just buy a turn-key E30. I brought it as a project car thinking I could work on it myself and make it a nice daily driver but as you can see in the video below the car resides in a driveway so I don't really have much space to work on it. It needs way more time and money to be a solid car than I am willing to put into it so selling it to someone who has tools, time, space, and enthusiasm to fix it up and drive it. I am also getting older/less able bodied and I would rather just drive a nice E30 and have a shop fix any issues (minus small maintenance items like a cap and rotor).

The parts on this car most of you guys would probably want are the crack-free dash and Euro bumpers. It also has Hella H1/H4 conversion and a bluetooth amp inside the stock radio. The engine is good for an i head swap if you want to go ahead and do that. Car is a beautiful single-stage black with chrome trim and has gotten lots of compliments; I have had people come up to me asking me to buy the car (before I screwed up the engine).

Parts that have been replaced on the car since I brought it in Aug 2019:
    - Timing belt
    - Odometer gears
    - All suspension bushings
    - Shocks and struts
    - Motor and transmission mounts
    - Gas tank
    - Driveshaft
    - Dashboard
    - Windshield
    - Cap and rotor
    - Front and rear lockstrips
    - 325i exhaust (catalytic convertor for auto 325e is NLA)
    - Hella H1/H4 headlight conversion
    - Front door lower weatherstripping (both driver/passenger side)

Please text 732-379-9363 if you are interested. The car is located in central NJ. Car is for sale whole only; I do not have space to part it out. Any questions feel free to ask. YouTube link below

Some pictures of the car - note that it was below 37F this morning so there is some frost (particularly on the rear of the vehicle)

Any idea how much you'd like to get for the car?
I'm sure folks will be asking that as the first question.

Wish I lived stateside as this looks like a good project candidate.

So the shop told me I could get $2k for it. The dash and Euro bumpers alone are worth that much. If people aren't willing to offer that much I'll just consider keeping the car and finding another shop that can rebuild/swap the engine, or maybe I'll save up for a year or two and send it to Kormann for a full rebuild/restoration. I'm seeing E30s in much shitter shape ask for much more in my area (example: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...5566907456158/ - this thing doesn't even run, has poorly fitted and non-body-matched M-Tech bumpers, is full of rot, and he wants $2800 for it lol)

This could be a great restoration project and someone who's willing to put the time and money into it, it has to the potential to be a nice Hagerty # 2 or # 3 car.
