I’ve got a very clean, very well sorted 1989 325is coupe in zinno red. Premium sound. M20. All stock except a slightly lowered Koni sport stance. Original paint & historic plates. SoCal car all its life. No rust. None. OEM 14” basketweaves including the spare which has likely never left the trunk. Garaged & well-loved.
For a 35 year old car I would say it is in Very Good to Excellent condition. Some minor cosmetic issues but it is basically very clean. It’s not a show car, but if that’s your goal, you could easily bring it to show quality.
Just under 200K miles on it and it’s ready for another 200K. Lots of receipts and maintenance records since I took ownership about 10 years ago. All new hoses, refreshed suspension, and other things I can’t remember right now. Most work has been done with Bimmerheads in Santa Clarita. I personally added some Noico in the cabin, rebuilt the electric sunroof, and fixed a lot of small cosmetic things.
I love this car. I am reluctant to sell. But I hate to admit, the car mostly sits in the garage these days.
I would consider an offer in the neighborhood of $25K. Maybe.1989 325is ✨
