All summer I was on a search for a clean late model alpine 318is/325is, with no luck. I Stumbled upon a e34 on craigslist.. checked it out and couldn't resist.

March 31st - rieger lip

95 540iA - 135k
- Entire 6 speed swap available, minus the pressure plate, which has some moderate rust damage. The flywheel will need to be resurfaced by a professional came out of a 95 540i6 with 120k miles
- Rieger lip
- Mint black interior, With one tiny scratch/rip on the bottom of the rear seat. Power Driver and passenger heated seats. Also the very rare rear headrest option
- good condition Shwartz II paint no fading
- m3/5 rep mirrors
- dual climate control, a/c works
- Clarion Head unit with 48 different colors, has one that matches the cars interior amber lighting. Rear aux input. Pre wired for a amp and sub, all you have to do is hook your amp and sub up | Edit: Cd jammed inside the head unit =\
- HID lows, and very very bright high beams (not sure what kind) |Edit: passenger side HID ballast is inop =\
- Remus exhaust
- K&N intake
- Chipped (not sure of the kind)
- staggered Rondell 58's 18x8.5 front 18x10 rear With brand new Nitto 555 tires 235/40 Front 265/35 rear Both z rated
- Bav auto DTM front lip (removed, cracked. comes with car)
- New battery
- Billy sport suspension with eibach springs
- Brand New front and rear struts
- Brand new water pump
- recent tune up (august 09)
- Brand new PCV plate
- fully rebuilt transmission
Bad
- gas door plastic pin snapped off (3/6/2010 fixed door opens and closes like new) , little rust bubbling in that area
- thrust arm bushings need replaced, very common issue with e34s | EDIT: Thrust arms, sway bar ends, control arms and tie rods have been replaced. However a slight shake is still noticeable at 50 mph which then goes away after that. Before this, it used to shake violently from 55-75mph
- seat twist issues (very DIY fixable friendly)
- tail lights are inop, brake lights and turn signals work..
- Leaks coolant from the radiator, will be replacing this asap
The car runs 100% like new, I am not sure if the engine block has been replaced for the Nikasil recall. The car does not have a rough idle and starts up just fine. The US has lowered the sulfur content in todays gasoline so even if it still had the original nikasil block it would not develop the compression issue.. The auto 5 speed tranny has been serviced and rebuilt not too long ago (as stated by the PO) Shifts smoothly with no hesitation. The car pulls hard
Exterior wise, the car is in good shape. No paint fading. Couple scratches and dings here and there. There is some rust bubbling near the fuel door area. I will be addressing this soon, one of my friends works at a body shop.
Interior wise, the car is like new. Black interior, with one tiny rip on the bottom of the rear seat. Power memory and heated front seats. The glovebox sags a bit however.
I love this car, however I recently got a job with over an hour commute one way, and I'm looking for something more fuel efficient. My first love for bmw was the e30, and ill do what i have to do to get back into one. This car would make a perfect kid hauler for the family. Huge and comfy.
I'll be editing this thread soon with some interior shots, and a few exterior shots of the blemishes.
What I'm looking for
I'm looking for a late model 2dr 318is/325is/s52/m50 swapped cars. Preferably in alpine white, but ill consider any color really. I don't really care about the mileage, as long as it has got some service records. Must be 5 speed, have minimal rust, and be equal to the value of my car, or your car + cash.
thank you for reading, let me know what you got!
Since i need to set a price...
3000 with stock weaves
4700 with stock weaves, and entire 6 speed drivetrain swap
4500 with rondells and pretty much new nitto's
6200 with rondells, and the entire 6 speed drivetrain swap
SOLD
