For sale is an '89 325is, 186k miles, 5 Speed. Beige/black interior and blue/silver exterior. The body has a bit of rust here and there with some faded paint, it's always been in the midwest. But don't get me wrong, the car does look presentable. I've owned the car for a few years but just recently picked up an e36 to replace it. I have performed a lot of maintenance recently. All of the following has been done in the past 5k miles unless otherwise noted:
Engine was refreshed. Meaning it was removed, resealed (every single gasket), the head was checked out and cleaned by a machine shop.
New timing belt and water pump.
New factory clutch kit.
New engine oil, trans oil, diff oil.
New gas tank.
All new brake hard lines run throughout the car.
All four calipers rebuilt.
New brake pads front and rear.
New front tie rods with ends.
New front control arms.
New rear Koni struts with new upper mounts. Has recent Koni front struts.
H&R sport springs.
New battery.
New front wheel bearings.
Transmission was rebuilt by the previous owner (about 50k miles ago).
Car comes with the black plastic lip, it was just loose on the car so I pulled it off. It will need new clips.
Z4 short shifter.
Euro smilie headlights.
M3 steering wheel/shifter.
Car has a CD player with some setup of speakers.
New exhaust system with all new exhaust seals.
Mechanically this car is extremely sound. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere. Whoever buys this car will have years of trouble free driving.
