I'd like a E30 S52 swapped in excellent condition. I know they usually go between $10 and $15 depending on condition and mods and willing to pay for a good one. I'll have to resort to a 4 door VW GTI, STI, or E36 M3/4/5 if I can't find one by October. ;)

That would be pretty sweet but doubt I could get a decent one in my budget. The last E30 touring I saw with a S52 swap went for mid 20's I believe. If it's possible to get one within my budget let me know. Good cosmetic condition is important.

How much of a price difference is there between s50 and s52 swapped e30's (when assuming perfect shape, slight mods etc.)?

There really shouldn't be a difference between the 3 and 3.2L cars. I think the biggest difference-maker will be the quality of the swap, followed by the mileage on the engine.
