In his email back to me.I have not taken it to the Dyno... not sure how fast it is to 60... I would guess probably around 5.35 seconds. A stock E36 M3 can do it in 5.5 seconds... and the E30 is quite lighter than the E36. Got someone local that will be coming by either tomorrow night or this weekend. I will let you know if it sells. Cheers, Eric
Ill let someone else take this, I found a better deal on an e46 m3 and I already have a money pit e30 to take care of.
I was being irrational and caught up in how great of a deal it is. Even though it is a great deal, Its not the right car for me, not now.

It's not a deal. And you still have to account for the s14 not being in there. The most expensive piece of the car was removed.Last edited by george graves; 03-31-2010, 09:36 PM.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

What you guys have to take into consideration is this: Nice NON M swapped cars go for between 6-10k depending on condition of the swap, mods etc. Let's take Chris's car for example (e30polak). His car is fuckin cleanly done. With all his goodies you are lookin to spend 9k. His car is also salvaged.
Think about this too: E30 M3 ROLLERS go for 5-6k. That's without interior just a fuckin shell! This car is 10k ready to go with an s52.
If you were to build this yourself here's a quick estimate.
5k for the shell
2k for interior (assuming you need dash, all electronics etc..)
1500-2k for wheels/tires.
2-4k for s52, tranny and all swap parts
at the lowest estimate you are at 10k already. AND that doesn't include install labor (if needed), after market suspension, and paint (if needed).
This is a good deal. It's not fantastic, but it's good. It's hard to find something better for that price.***Affordable Powder Coating Here:***

Depends on timing, I got my roller with an engine sans a head it was a 2.5L and was missing the front seats, big deal still had the stereo in it for 7.3k with H&R coilovers and system II's. Bargains can be found, if you consider it a Bargain than you can't sit around and wait!Comment

That is a hella of a deal for that car u got. I've been looking for a clean e30 m3 for the last year, and the price range has been between 12k-18k depending on condition. Anything under 12k all seems to need a lot of tlc.Depends on timing, I got my roller with an engine sans a head it was a 2.5L and was missing the front seats, big deal still had the stereo in it for 7.3k with H&R coilovers and system II's. I'm gonna pass on this one too. If it wasn't a salvage title, i'll be all over it. I would of been willing to pay 13k or 14k for it if it was a clean title.Comment

Mine was a salvage due to theft recovery as well. Recovered by police and I purchased from the owner.
My other one was a super high mileage car but was cheap.Comment

I don't know diddle about bimmers but a "better fit" at the firewall that bothers other enthusiasts tells me this car's frame is like Pringles potato chips and the subframe is crunched towards the driver.
Hmm, fast car, So-Cal, highways speeds = Front end collision...... Greased Monkey ...Comment
