    GA: 1992 325ic M-Tech II S52 (Long and Detailed)

I finally got the car just like I want it, so it's time to sell. That's just what I do.

Seriously, the wife and I are planning for a family, so everything that's not necessary is going away, starting with this car. I've sold seven cars to Bimmerforums members all without issue, so you can feel comfortable knowing that I'm as up-front and honest a seller as there is. Just ask those that have purchased my cars. References available if needed.

If you're looking for a car that you can get on the cheap that needs work, this ain't the one for you. This car is ready for daily driving duty without issue. No check engine lights, no surging idle, no leaks, no ABS lights, no rust, no surprises. It behaves like it came from the factory with this motor in it. If you know me and know my cars and the approach I take towards upgrading/modifying them, then you know that I do it right, taking no shortcuts along the way. This project was no exception and honestly I was a little too picky during the build and it shows in the final product. I have every receipt for every penny spent and will be more than happy to go over them with interested buyers. I have an Excel spreadsheet showing the total amount spent and it's pretty crazy. To date I have over $22k in this car (!). So yeah, it's done right. It's as nice a swapped E30 around and is very clean. All new parts have less than 5k miles on them.

I originally started this project with a 1991 318ic and was never 100% happy with it as it had limited OBC, cloth interior and wasn't as clean as I like my projects to be. So I purchased the MT2 car and swapped EVERYTHING over, making the MT2 car a manual with the underpinnings of the swapped car; engine/tranny, subframes, brakes, etc. That swap is documented in one the threads linked below. The Racer's Market did the original swap and German Car Repair cleaned up all of the wiring and got the car running perfectly.

    Car/Body
I'm the third owner and the car started life in California before the second owner purchased it a few years ago, only to drive it 60 miles in eighteen months, as it was her 12th (yes twelfth) car. I stumbled upon it on Chattanooga Craigslist and wasn't even in the market but the MT2 package and cleanliness of the body made me decide to get it and begin the swap. The body has no dings with minor paint chips on the front lower valence.

    • Half-power top. Just tonneau cover is power, everything else is manual
    • 20% tint all around
    • New Husco armrest

Two things that don't work on the car: cruise control and heated seats. Cruise because we had issues with the e36 cable and I never use it and no heated seats because when the P.O. had them re-skinned the heating element was mistakenly left out. All of the wiring is still there, but again, it wasn't worth it to me to take the leather off just for butt warmers as they're not very necessary in Atlanta.

    Drivetrain
I can get a compression test for anyone that is interested.

17" wheels, caution: haters (how it looks now)

    Price

$17k with the 17" Beyern Mesh wheels/Toyo tires + 14" white basketweaves with new Falkens or $16k with just the 14" weaves. Sure, it's priced higher than most if not all swapped cars for sale at the moment, but I challenge you to find a cleaner swap that needs NOTHING for daily driving duty, not to mention the rarity of the MT2 appearance package.
