    FS: 1990 325is SoCal

Up for sale: 1990 325is, 196k miles. Car is listed locally for a bit more, but I'd rather see it go to an enthusiast, so I'm looking for around $4200 (negotiable).

Some of you old-timey SoCal'ers may remember me, my handle was HunterOfMonkies. This car has been my daily driver for the last 9 years and has served me well. It's tough to see it go, but it's time for me to move on (just bought a 993), and I don't have space for this one anymore.

This car is in great condition mechanically. No major accidents/damage, tracks perfectly straight, handles and runs very well. Lots of recent service (last 1k miles or so). OEM options include heated seats and ski pass-through, plus of course all the nice IS stuff like the sport seats. Full toolkit, too.

    Recent service:
    - New pads (all corners)
    - New rear rotors (Brembo cross-drilled)
    - Total refresh up front (tie rods/bushings, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings)
    - New water pump

    Modifications:
    - H&R sport springs + Bilstein sport shocks (35-40k miles) (OEM [new] available)
    - 4.10 LS differential (OEM available)
    - Supersprint DTM exhaust (OEM available)
    - Jim Conforti Chip 91 octane (OEM available)
    - Breyton front spoiler, side skirts fiberglass replicas (OEM underneath [repairable bend])
    - BBS RS replica wheels (OEM available [one slightly bent])
    - Euro headlight grills (OEM available)
    - Euro Hella shadowline elipsoids (OEM available)

    The bad:
    - Very slight oil leak. Maybe 1/2 quart in 2-3 months.
    - Slight leak from steering rack. Requires topping off every 3 months.
    - Original paint is thin/cracking on parts of the car (hood and roof) -- IMO it still shines up pretty well (see pics)
    - Paint is damaged on driver's door from P/O's crappy bondo+paint dent repair
    - Some small dings/dents here and there (see pics)
    - Obligatory driver's seat wear (the rest of the leather is in good shape)
    - Crack in dash

If you have any more questions, want more pics, or to come see/drive the car (located in Santa Barbara, CA), please drop me an email.

Thanks, Matt, I'm not stoked to let go, but since I don't have the room it's what I gotta do. Thanks everyone else for the bumps. All I can hope is to find a good new owner to take care!

Barry! I can't believe I haven't seen your new cabrio in person yet, what a sweet ride. As it goes, I really got a sweet deal on that 993 that I just couldn't pass up. You can feel free to give me a hard time about being a traitor next time I bring it around. :P

I sure hope I'll be able find another clean e30 once I've got a place to keep her. Clean ones are getting harder and harder to find these days.

The car has been sold. Thanks for all the interest! I'll see you all back in the e30 saddle again some day.
