What's always worked for me is plenty of good quality photos and HTML them into a CL post. Don't use CL's upload, they're too small.
Even a walk around video helps

Also brief details on R&R, upgrades, etc... If you get too long and technical some people are too lazy to read it all or it's overwhelming after reading others For Sale post

Haha, thanks for everybody's input. I'm honestly tired of dealing with all of these flakers. I've never had so much wasted energy selling a car and it's costing me more in time than hard cash these days. I'm likely going to pull it off the market if I don't move it by this weekend and just move forward with the project. I think I may 5 speed swap it and throw a new dash in her over the weekend... :) At least I'll have some fun with her then!

If my attitude is 'if they're willing to pay what I want for it otherwise I'll keep it' it usually sells. If I'm trying to push it and dealing with 'flakes' it never sells.
Go figure.

I can't tell you how many idiots have called me who know nothing about Mtech kits and their value and they offer me 3 grand because they "saw another one" go for that much recently... Anyways, it'll be available at this ridiculously low price until I throw more $$$ into it and then the price will go up accordingly. It looks like a new dash may go in this weekend and possibly 5 speed next week. Time to enjoy the car I guess! Drove her to airport the other day and really enjoyed her after getting off of a looooooooong plane flight!

Sold my Land Rover that way. The best one on the net sold and the other were used and abuse. I put my up at a price that I wanted and cared less if it sold or not, but it was the cleanest and I listed details and photos. Sold in 4 days.

some don't bother to answer emails or return phone messages
like I'm going to work hard to give them my money

Haha, well 10 grand more "invested/down the toilet" and I'm still loving this car. I've been driving her quite a bit when not in the shop for more upgrades, repairs or modifications. She has gone through a complete transformation with more time, energy and parts than I care to even list... A few highlights: New dash, stereo, Heated, black, manual M3 Vaders (custom with e30 heaters), full black interior conversion, D2 coilovers with adjustable camber plates, filled/re-drilled style 5 17" 2 piece BBS wheels, EVERY piece of rubber/bushings replaced or upgraded, M3 drop link conversion, oversize rear sway. FULL mechanical overhaul, everything is now working, 5 speed with new clutch and LW flywheel, MAF kit, short shift, all new brake rotors, pads, SS lines, Euro Smileys with HIDs low and fogs, painted kidney grills black, euro grills, MT2 small wheel, fresh paint on valance, front bumpers, etc... You wouldn't believe how far this thing has come! Needs a few last touches that I'm working on slowly...

Getting close to "finished" on this project and may need to move her to fund a real estate investment (AKA my next living space). I know I'll take a huge bath but let me know if anyone wants to learn more. A firm, cash offer might make me give her away if it happens quickly. Going back to shop for more last little fixes and tweaks and still thinking about even a turbo or swap... (Yes, I'm sick in the head, I know but I have the car disease, LOL)....
