He fed be a story about how its been in his family for years and there is service records and all that. The TRUTH is that he got the car at a public donation auction a month ago and just cleaned it up and added an IS lip. After I confronted him, he just hung up the phone on me. TRUE MILES are WAY over 160K according to carfax!!!

I just saw this today and thought of this thread. It looks like he keeps reposting it. I called him and he seemed to be pretty honest I guess from realizing he can't keep lying to people like this expecting to sell it to some unsuspecting person.

He told me he was given the car about a month ago and doesn't know much about it's history. He said the mileage reads 53k and that he doesn't know if it's correct but that the car looks and drives like it. I told him I don't believe it truly has 53k miles and he simply said thats what it reads and it looks and drives like it. I got the VIN number from him but when I looked it up it said it does not exist so either he gave me the wrong VIN or I copied it down wrong.

OP: You said you looked it up on carfax so you must have the VIN. Can you post it here or PM me it so I can find more info on the car? The number he gave me was WB88F9310MEE66841
