not really trying to sell the car outright because A i need a car and B the only other car i want is an e30 so i figured i would see if anyone is interested in a trade, im looking for cash on top of an e30 the amount is depending on the condition/mods of the car. Has to be a 5spd and i really only want an is, not to picky on color pretty much anything but red just looking for a clean ass e30!! i sold mine to get this and now im having sellers remorse...now on to my car
Its a 1998 540i 6 speed,i bought it from the original owner who bought it new in san francisco, car has cold weather package, premium and sport package, Montreal Blau with black leather and wood trim interior, the interior is in near new shape the only spot showing wear is a small spot on the console, paint is in great shape except for the front there is a considerable amount of rock chips on the front lip and a little on the hood, this car is low and the po lived in stockton i guess theres a lot of rocks on the road there? gps, heated seats, heated steering wheel, fully adjustable seats including air fed lumbar supports,
upgrades:
supersprint cat back exhaust, sounds fucking amazing,
h&r springs on billie sport shocks
full hamann body kit, front lip side skirts, rear lip, and m5 lip spoiler
tinted windows 35% all the way around 20% rear, and 540i badge delete.
i also have a set of hid xenon angel eyes oem hella that came with it but i took them off because i preferred the stock lights.
for the most part it is stock it rides awesome and is very very fast, going from an e30 to this was night and day in terms of driveability and acceleration.
the somewhat bad:
drivers rear window regulator doesnt work and the privacy screen is broken so the window can be pushed down easily and falls down about an inch or two when driving, car was not broken into just a drunk buddy on a road trip to a tattoo convention....
clutch has never been replaced but it is fine i drive this car everyday
should have a cd changer in the trunk but its missing
gps is an older unit with a cd not a dvd and the cd is scratched po told me i could buy a new cd and it would be fine it still works ive used it a few times but usually i just rely on my phone for gps.
the afformentioned rock chips on the front, and one fog light is cracked and not working.
tape deck doesnt work either, it ate an ipod adapter...
