    whats the difference between the e and the i or is models? i was in bloomington an hour ago i wish i couldve stopped by... but i just saw this

      I dont remember but mine is the one with the eta 6cylinder with power windows manual sunroof and well, I believe the is or the i model is a 4 cylinder. I dont remember, didnt research the other ones too well.

        The "e" is an "eta" model that has a 2.7L motor that has a very low rev limit and makes a lot of torque and low power. The "es" is a sport version of the "e". The is and i's can have either a 1.9L inline 4 (318 models) that makes no torque at all or 2.5L inline 6 motor (325 models) that makes decent power and torque.

          clarkkey594 your wrong the 318 never had a 1.9 in the e30 chassis. the m44 engine which came in the e36 was a 1.9l. the m42/m10 were both 1.8l
