i just think it's kinda... "shady" that he's raising the price so much... in hind sight i thought he was claiming it had h and r shocks and what not done to it. he doesnt even mention the cam, though. i would think thats a very note worthy mod.

Who's to say that its not worth what he's asking? I bought a car for 2500 once that I probably should have paid about 4500+ for. He bought it at a low/good price and wants to "flip it" essentially which is fine.

I bought my car several years back for $1,500. Doesn't mean I'll sell it today for that much knowing its worth considerably more.

LOL small world. I spoke with that guy this afternoon. Apparently he's selling an E39 (http://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/cto/2020305736.html) also and wants CL to decide which of the 2 cars he keeps. He told me he would feel bad driving the E39 in the winter and would prefer to keep the E30. Looks like a pretty nice car, there's not much by way of E30s here in chicago lately.- Josh
