You guys make it sound like getting a title is impossible, you have so much to learn. If you are paying 5k for body work you fail at life and you can pick up m20s for a couple hundred all the time. If you don't want it, good for you stfu! Have a nice day. No trades.

I don't think the price is that far off. Good condition tourings go for 15-20k!

I'm sure people include paint in the "body work" quote. You're looking at 2-3k for a QUALITY paint job unless you have a hook or can do the work yourself. Fixing the damage shouldn't cost more than 1k and that should be included in the paint price. So 3500 for all body work and paint. Like you said, m20s are Fuckin cheap. But why do all the other work for a measly m20?

Interior will be 1k. Seats, carpet, repairs etc so fall under 1k.

It's a nice project if you have the funds or know how. Obviously I'm assuming your asking price is negotiable. I'm not interested but if I was, id offer 2-3k max.

I guess the thing you'd have to ask yourself is how much that wagon compartment is worth to YOU. The main factors in any fs thread are: runs, rust, clean title, clean body. A plastics non-wagon with good marks in those categories can be found for around $1200 with some searching. With $3k in bodywork/appearance and another $1k in conservative repairs/maintenance, does it then become justifiable to spend an extra $6-7k to have nearly the same car sans wagon? For me, no. maybe for someone with a spare 24v and time, yes.

I thot it was a willing buyer willing seller thing going on here, the seller makes a quote - if U don't like let it b, if one likes it at least make an offer b 4 U play down the item.. so far only a few have..
