So I've decided to switch gears on my projects and sell the running e30 shell I have in my garage. Here are the details.
1984 325e Hennarot 5 Speed Coupe
220-230k on m20b27 block according to carfax, ODO shows 140k
0 miles on rebuilt ported 731 head. +2mm I exhaust valves, +1mm Intake valves, 5 angle performance valve job. New guides installed, bulleted. Head pressure tested and decked. Preformed by Mark DeGroff.
731 Head, Dual Valve Springs, I cam
I intake Manifold, Throttle Body, AFM, 1.3 Motronic
19# Injectors MarkD Chip 173 DME
New Water Pump, Timing Belt, Tensioner, Crank Seal, Cam Seal
New Cap & Rotor, Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter
New Gaskets for the Intake, head, TB, valve cover, timing belts covers
No Power steering, No A/C, No heater Core, No coolant lines for TB and Heater Core. I'm running the e cooling system with the e radiator and accessory fan. The fan is kind of a stand in for now until I got a better electric fan setup.
Stock 5 speed. Needs shifter bushings. Welded 100% Lock-up 3.73 diff available, not installed.
Suspension is completely untouched. It has Bilsteins in the rear from PO.
Comes with Bottle Caps with Nitto NT450.
Interior is completely gutted. No sunroof panel. It will come with a cracked dash and working i cluster. If you have your own seat it may just be better to bring that as the seat that is in there now is all jacked up and was also a stand in.
I also have a Corbeau race seat I can throw in if anyone's interested.
Car does not pass smog. It is running straight headers. It is registered as PNO. Clean title. Last on road registration was April 2010.
If someone is interested in a clean southern California shell with a fast 2.7i swap then I would like to sell the whole thing as a complete, but I'll instead part it out if there are interested parties in different items.
The original plan for the car was to run in the LeMons or chump car series, but then I ended up spening a lot of money on new parts and the head so it's a little inbetween the beginning of a track car and a LeMons competitor.
Starting price $1500.
$1200 No chip, no cluster

Seems to be a lot of people interested in the Henna aspect of the body. Here are some detail shots of anything I found that one might want to be aware of. It appears that it was repainted at some point. The PO had attached an awesome 80s coke dealer zender/kamei body kit with drywall screws. There are some holes in the quarter panels, fenders and trunk lid. There are also some questionable areas of the floor pan. I loosely use the term rust-free, I'm from Michigan and anything that is out here is rust free to me! Either way it's similar to what you would expect from a 25 year old California Car. Nothing too crazy. Never ran into any problems turning bolts.
